Frustrating Glitch in the Cemetery (Story Map).

Ok so I'm at the part in the story where Pessos and Max are in the cemetery. Specifically the part just after you pick up the grenade launcher and Pessos goes all Braveheart and runs around the side of that van.
So here's my problem; there's that group of guys right by the statue which are not an issue at all. One grenade takes out the lot of them. Then there's this guy off to the right behind that set of bushes and the small pillar that I literally cannot see and can only kill by firing a grenade over the pillar. Fine, all well and good. I can kill him no problem either. However, here's where I'm experiencing the glitch. Even if I fire a grenade over there before shooting one at the larger group the "Failed" cutscene begins but my grenade hits him just before he kills Pessos. So basically the game is registering that I failed that sequence but beat it at the same time. The "Failed" cutscene begins, guy dies before shooting Pessos and then the game tries to play the next cutscene in the progression. However, the next cutscene never actually starts. It just sits at this black screen. It doesn't give me the "Retry" option because I saved Pessos, but doesn't play the next cutscene either because I also "Failed". I can pause like in a normal cutscene but the screen stays black and forces me to do a hard quit.
It's extremely frustrating.

Anyone else experienced this or know a fix?

Got it to work. Nvm.
After far too many hard quits the cutscene worked.

It seems I have the same issue. It's very frustrating, I've tried it at least 30 times, and always the same. Even if I manage to kill the thug that shoots Pessos, the cutscene breaks and I can only pause/unpause. How could you get around this bug?

Ok, I've found the solution. Don't use the grenade launcher until you get closer to the originally visible bunch of gangsters:P If you kill them too early, the rest of the enemies won't attack you and instead they kill Pessos. Pff
